Biggest ever job fair at Pragati Maidan


TimesJobs.com in association with India Trade Promotion Organisation, is organising the largest job fair in India.
The job fair starts from today at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The who's who of the corporate world is participating in the fair, along with a number of educational institutes, for whom a special section on Professional Education has been earmarked.

There is considerable enthusiasm among the HR community about the fair, which is being perceived as the best place for quality talent acquisition.
More than 60 companies like GE, Cordys, Computer Associates, BirlaSoft, Patni, Wipro Spectramind, vCustomer, evalueServe, EXL, Cincom & Motherson Sumi would be recruiting for over 4,000 vacancies at the event.
Besides, a number of professional institutes like AHA, IIFT and JSS Academy are participating in the section on professional education.
According to R Sundar, Director (Corporate) of The Times group: "Over the past few months, TimesJobs.com has organised a number of successful and highly responsive job fairs across the country.
This fair, being held in association with ITPO, would be the biggest of them all. Considering the large talent pool that we have in India, it is high time we realised the importance of these events in providing viable career options."
Says Kapil Magan, AVP HR of vCustomer, "one of the participating companies, Our organisation is on an aggressive growth path and we will leverage the fair to source the right candidates."
According to Rohini Suri, Head-Human Resource (HR) of BirlaSoft, another participant that is looking to recruit over 400 professionals for its new facility at New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (Noida), "the fair would be an ideal place to recruit the large numbers that we require."
